Home > Responding to ADA Accommodation Icon
It is important to be alert to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Accommodation icon. This icon indicates that the client has requested and been approved for a specific accommodation. Any time you are looking at a client’s case you should look for that icon.
Steps:
If the case is marked with an ADA Accommodation icon, you must access the Accommodation page by clicking the icon.
Review the approved accommodation and proceed according to existing Department policy.
Important: |
See the Americans with Disabilities (ADA) Act –ADA book Accommodation/Special Assistance Request in this guide for additional procedures. |
Once action is taken on the case regarding the accommodation, complete the Accommodation/Special Assistance Tracking page of the Accommodation/Special Assistance workflow.
Note: |
These procedures apply to all DTA staff. |
